Now there is actually a huge difference in having God’s Love and living out God’s Love. While having God’s Love is knowing we are forgiven, and are internally comforted and unconditionally valued, living out God’s Love is putting in the daily practice of “spreading” God’s Love, not only yourself, but also to your neighbors around you in actions. It is the active motion of putting God’s Love God has loved you with to others. I like to think of these two concepts like having God’s Love is God filling my cup, while living God’s Love is the cup overflowing to the outside. And yes, both are interconnected, in that you cannot have God’s Love and not live it out, nor can you live out God’s Love and not have it yourself.
