About Us, St. Jude's Dauntless Orthodox Christian

This is our story, and how we came to be.

It started in 2024, around springtime, when a guy in 8th Grade got it into his head to create a media outlet. Let's call him The Founder. Anyway, this guy in the 8th grade really wanted to create a media outlet, so he started to learn how to read and write code. He learned how to set up websites on his own. From around the middle of spring to the middle of summer in July, he worked hard on this website, writing and rewriting all the code for the website. This website eventually became known as Dauntless Corsair, because he liked these two planes, the SBD Dauntless and the F4U Corsair.

When he revealed the website to his family, they were very glad and rejoiced with him, on July 22, 2024, the day that this Website was officially open for business. He kept making additions to the website, hoping that it would attract people to the website. He posted a lot of political content on the website as well, because it was an election year, in hopes of attracting people in a political way. Little by little, the website matured and became better, but the only users of the website were only himself and his family! Despite this, he kept coding the website, making it a bit better every day.

Throughout all this time however, The Founder had his faith keep growing and growing, in the most important figure of all time: Jesus Christ. Day after day, his faith in Christ kept growing stronger, and The Founder learned to love the Lord deeply. Christ himself saved The Founder from destruction and sin numerous times, and The Founder still is very grateful for all those times. There were a few particular times that The Founder really sought for the Lord's help, and his prayers were dramatically answered. The most dramatic time was when The Founder was stuck in a certain sin, and when he prayed for deliverance out of that sin, the Triune God dramatically delivered him out of that sin, something that to this day The Founder is still extremely grateful for, a life of true freedom from sin, all by God's hand. And yes, The Founder is still extremely thankful for that wonderful act of mercy and love enacted by Jesus Christ himself, along with Christ's Father and The Holy Spirit, the act of deliverance and freedom from a deep sin, almost impossible to overcome. But it was overcome, by God's Grace.

Because of his newfound love for Christ, and that The Founder perceived that there was probably not a lot of demand for another political media outlet (this was after the 2024 election), The Founder, after much consideration, decided to convert his website from a political media outlet, to a Website dedicated to service for the Lord Jesus Christ. He at the time had no idea how it would serve Christ in an effective way, but he stuck with it and kept going. He started with posting Bible Verses and analyzing passages from Holy Scripture, the Bible. And he made this Website more Christian, and developed the website, so it can be a well-oiled machine for Christians everywhere, so they can give their testimony about Christ, and tell their own stories about Christ, similar to The Founder's deliverance testimony.

And there was this other particular time, a little later after the decision was made to make the website dedicated to Christ, when one of The Founder's friends was in a tight situation. This friend of the Founder's was extremely anxious, troubled, and without any hope in a particular area of his own life, to the point that he considered ending it all if it did not work out. The Founder prayed a lot for his friend, four times a day, to God Almighty. He also heard of a certain Saint, called Saint Jude Thaddeus, and he decided to ask for Saint Jude Thaddeus' intercession, the patron saint of hopeless, desperate, and lost causes, so that God might save his friend from utter catastrophe. He also told his friend to pray to Saint Jude. And literally, after four to five days after the immense prayer started, The Founder got the news from his friend, that on a Sunday, the very thing in his life that was making him be in such agony, was totally and utterly resolved. The problem vanished, the worries were gone, and peace was firmly established. And it is because of God's mercy shown on that day, and the remarkable intercession of Saint Jude Thaddeus, that The Founder renamed this website from Dauntless Corsair, to St. Jude's Dauntless Orthodox Christian, in honor of St. Jude's wonderful intercession. And even to this day, St. Jude still intercedes for The Founder whenever The Founder is in need of his intercession. And every time without fail, the intercession is indeed powerful and effective, and The Founder feels God's Love and mercy through St. Jude's intercession. The Founder is very grateful for St. Jude.

And so it is because of God's Mercy and Love, constantly shown to The Founder, that this website, St. Jude's Dauntless Orthodox Christian, is dedicated to service to the Lord. The mission of St. Jude's Dauntless Orthodox Christian is a trio of things: make Christian Testimony, just like The Founder's here, easily accessible to anyone around the world; strengthen the faith of Christians struggling in their faith; and to be a valuable tool in the toolbox of the Holy Church that Christ himself established, for the sake of evangelization, faithfulness, and mercy to all people. And it is also an earnest desire of this website that the schism between the Roman Catholic Church, and the Orthodox Churches, may come to a definitive end very soon, and so unite all of Christendom, together with the Protestants, all in true Orthodox understanding of Christ and the Church's teaching about the Kingdom of Heaven. This is our story, from a political media outlet started by a kid who wanted to make the world a better place, to a website dedicated to the Love of Christ, created by a Christian whose life was truly transformed by God's Love.
