Yes I am actively trying to resist the devil! However we must keep in mind it is by the power of God and by His Grace we are truly delivered from the devil's influence, and it is not us fighting the devil but God because our flesh can do nothing against the spiritual realm, though of course having free will we are to use it wisely.
