I would say yes and no. Yes, because especially in the tough times when my faith is tested, it is what strengthens me the most, and holds me strong even when the wind howls and the rain fell, for our foundation is Christ. But also… no. As hard as it is to admit this, following Jesus steadfastly is very nearly impossible to do consistently (at least for me). It’s like a try and fail cycle, and now that I’m typing this out I’m getting real sad over this because so many of the times I stumble are not due to, oh no I did a really terrible thing, but letting the devil grasp a hold on me. And it’s that fight, that decision between the old flesh and the Holy Spirit that trips and stumbles me. And what’s real interesting for me is it’s not necessarily when the times are tough to preserve for Christ, but when they are comfortable and “easy”. Distractions come so easily in this day and age. Future in life I pray to God my life won’t get “easy” to the point where I forget about God for even a day, or think for a moment my own strength is greater than His.

It's supposed to say when times are tough lol. But I hope that all of you persevere for Christ when times are tough, for he persevered in his passion for our salvation.
