The Word of the Lord.

This treasure is the Truth of God. This treasure is the Faith that has been handed down to us from the Apostles themselves. The sound teaching that Saint Paul writes about is Apostolic Teaching, that is Orthodox teaching and doctrine on the Faith of Jesus Christ, Son of God. We are to continually practice our Faith in Jesus Christ, with great faith and love that imitates Jesus Christ himself. And when we keep persevering in our faith to Jesus Christ, we are never alone, for the Holy Spirit who dwells in us is always with us and is always helping us in our journey into God's Righteousness. So therefore, with God's comfort and love, hear this: continually practice your faith in Christ, for it is a way of life in intimate communion with God. The treasure that you have found, which is Christ's Church, full of the Truth of God and the fullness of the Apostolic Faith, cherish the treasure, guard the treasure, and by all means necessary keep the treasure, for this treasure is valuable beyond our comprehension; all the gold and rubies in the world would not account for a percent of the value of the treasure. And when things get hard when practicing our Faith and keeping the treasure, we ask the Holy Spirit to help us, and he will come and save us, for he indwells in us who are Baptized into Christ. Amen.
