The word of the Lord.

The key phrase that Peter under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit is this one: SHARE IN THE DIVINE NATURE. We have been called by God to leave the corruption and evils of the world ruled by Satan, which includes our sinful lives and evil desires that tempt us. We have been called to leave all of these things, and literally partake of the Divine Nature of God. This is only possible by God's Power realized through the Grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, and this is truly the precious promise, the priceless treasure that God gifts us with: Theosis, that is total Union with God. Theosis is literally sharing and partaking of the same divine nature that Christ has, and so having the soul, mind, body, and heart in perfect alignment with the thoughts and will of God, with the beliefs, words, and actions of the person in perfect alignment and communion with God Almighty. Only by his Divine power, or Divine Grace, can we be gifted Theosis. We receive the Grace of God through true repentance, true contrition, forgiveness of sins from God, prayer, fasting, almsgiving, and a truly Faithful and Sacramental Life in Love in God. The Holy Liturgy, The Jesus Prayer, The Eucharist, Faith, Hope, The Holy Spirit, Love for God, Forgiveness of Sins, The Holy Rosary, they are all extremely important for eventually sharing in the divine nature, which will happen according to God's will. So therefore, with hearts burning with Love for God, go and spend some time in intimate prayer with God, go to a quiet place and let your entire being rest in the God of the Universe. Go to the Holy Liturgy of the Holy Church and receive The Holy Eucharist. Ask the Holy Spirit to guide you into walking in the Spirit always. Have Peace with God, and give this Peace to others around you, in perfect imitation of God. By participating in the Sacramental Christian Life, this is how we can share in the Divine Nature, the greatest and most wonderful reality that can be realized in this life and in the next. Amen.
