Come forth! Let us bow down to worship him;
let us kneel before the Lord, our Maker. For he is our God,
and we are the people he shepherds, the flock he protects.
If only you would listen to his voice today: “Harden not your hearts as you did at Meribah, as on the day of Massah in the wilderness.
The Word of the Lord.
God the Holy Trinity invites us to worship him. He invites us to come and worship him with thanksgiving and Love for God. He invites us to have our minds, souls, hearts, and bodies in full communion with Christ Jesus his Son, and our Lord. This Worship of God is where we find rest for our souls, for Christ himself says, "Come to me, all of you weary and heavy laden, and I will give you rest." For those who come and Worship God with thanksgiving, with joy, with gladness, and with the fullness of truth, they will find complete rest in Christ. To those who reject worship of God, they bring exhaustion and unnecessary burden on themselves by rejecting to have rest with the Author of Life and Rest. So, let us always worship God, giving God his due Honor and Glory, which is with our entire lives and existence, with joy and thanksgiving to God, participating always in the Faith of Jesus Christ, and always partaking of God's Gift to us, the Holy Eucharist. Amen.
