The Word of God.

Christ tells us that the work of God that we should be doing is to believe in the one whom he has sent. This statement not only refers to Christ himself, Savoir of the World, but it also refers to the Apostles who will be sent by Christ to preach the Good News of Salvation through Jesus Christ. In this teaching from our Lord, believe should be understood as faithful obedience, not just a declaration of belief. Saying what you believe is important, and you should always hold dear to yourself your beliefs in Christ, for that is what Christ wants us to have, to have the true beliefs and knowledge of God, so we can share in his Love and Life for Eternity. However, your beliefs will dictate how you live. The creeds you profess will influence your conduct. If you truly believe that Christ is God, and all his commandments are to be obeyed lovingly and honored, you will see yourself living like Christ and the Apostles. If you say that you believe that Christ is All-knowing, why do you sin in the dark? That's not right, because you're saying you believe one thing, but in reality, by the way you live, it shows that you don't really believe it. So, belief is extremely important, and living out that belief faithfully in Christ is equally important, and it is so important to get the right beliefs, for the right beliefs stated by Christ and the Apostles, lived out under the Grace of the Holy Spirit will lead to everlasting life. And so therefore we are to always seek things which are above, which are the fruits of the Holy Spirit, which are Love, Joy, Peace, Longsuffering, Self-Control, Patience, Faith, Piety, Holy Obedience, and all virtue from God. Don't be anxious, and as you believe that Jesus Christ is God Incarnate, so live your life out according to your belief. Amen.
