Psalm 112:5 (New Catholic Bible)

The future bodes well for him who is generous in helping those in need and who conducts his affairs with justice.

The Gospel of Jesus Christ and the infallible word of God

When we pray this verse of Psalm 112, we realize an important truth: for those of us who imitate God, are living for God, and are faithful to God, and are in communion with God, the future is great. God is generous, giving, and charitable in all ways, and we are called to imitate him. God also serves with justice, fairness, and love. God is life. Therefore, we Christians who have accepted the Revelation of God through Jesus Christ, we also will find ourselves imitating the goodness of God described in this Psalm, and indeed the future for us looks bright, because we will be prepared by God to be with him in everlasting and eternal life, along with eternal communion and union with God in his Love, at the end of the age, when Jesus Christ comes again in great power. Amen.

This is important. Don't forget it.
