The Word of the Lord through the bondservant Peter

These verses share the steps of becoming partakers of God’s divine nature, which is very important. Once we have faith in our Lord Jesus Christ, we are to have virtue like reliance on God, and then knowledge which is knowing God’s Word. But just because we know God’s Word doesn’t make us Christian, but self control, which gives way for perseverance and perseverance through the temptations to godliness. This godliness would become like an overflowing cup, spilling unto our neighbors in the form of brotherly kindness, and this kindness into the Love of Christ, to God and for each other. Help us all have love for one another, even our enemies. Amen.
