1 Corinthians 15:58

Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.

The Word of the Lord.

This was written by Paul in his first letter to the Corinthians, and this was written after Paul was done talking about the manner of the glorious resurrection of the dead at the end of the age, including who resurrects us, who is God. We are called to be steadfast in the faith, holding fast to the teachings of the Church and of Christ, called to be immovable in that we need to stay true to the orthodox understanding of the Gospel, not heretical beliefs of the Gospel, and we are called to always abound in the work of the Lord, that is dying to sinfulness and separation from God, and becoming alive to God, in eternal life, revealed by the Son, Jesus Christ. Amen.
