Proverbs 1:8-9

“Listen, my son, to your father’s instruction and do not forsake your mother’s teaching. They are a garland to grace your head and a chain to adorn your neck.”

The Word of God

The teachings from our father and mother are very important and something we should keep in our hearts. If our mother say for us to do something (that is not contrary to the Lord), we are to obey and do it with faith and love. As serving our mother and our father is like serving the Lord.
