Are we to fear God or the world? As believers and partakers in Christ Who has already overcome this world, why do we still obey the old flesh? Aren't we given a new one? Or do we continue to let sin take control of us out of an unwillingness to change and repent? Or do we continue to soften the sin and make it like shining diamonds? May it never be! but rather we are to be in the new flesh, living the new life through Jesus Christ our Lord, without the need to be afraid of this world. Let us, then, being of the same family to the Father, encourage and correct each other, pray ceaselessly, love one another with all righteousness, and abide in His Word always, Who governs the whole of creation.
