"No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it."
The Word of the Lord
Through God's power all temptations can be overcome, we just have to surrender to Him. Because God is all good, no amount of evil can enter into His presence, so instead of mindlessly going through with the temptation, we are to recognize what's at stake; our time and energy, and understand God is greater and more important than any temptations that are leading to sin, using His Word as a shield and the sword of the Spirit (Ephesians 6:17).
