Isaiah 53:5

"But He was pierced for our transgressions, He was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on Him, and by His wounds we are healed".

Glory and Honor and Worship to the Lord Jesus Christ who died for our sins, so that we may live and inherit eternal life.

Jesus Christ died on this day so that we can live. No longer bound by sins, but alive in God. Through Jesus Christ, the suffering servant, we can enter deep communion with our Heavenly Father, for He paid the price by His wounds, bleeding out of love for us, so that we can be united in Him forevermore. Thus let us honor this day with worship and prayer, to the One who bled and was repulsed by the world, for our sake, Amen.

Yes, let us honor Good Friday as the day when the spotless Lamb of God died to take away our sins, destroy the powers of darkness, and grant to us eternal life with the Father in heaven. Although this day is sorrowful because it is the day of Christ's death, it is also a day when the light overcame the darkness.
