Hebrews 12:2

looking unto Jessus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

So therefore, Jesus Christ is the perfector of our faith, and so we are to imitate him in is perseverance, endurance, and faith in God.

Glory to the Word of God, Lord Jesus Christ!
