Romans 6:23, New Catholic Bible

Romans 6:23 (New Catholic Bible)

For the wages of sin is death, but the gift freely given by God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Death is separation from God. But God gives us freely the wonderful gift of his Grace and Salvation for us to be united and in communion with him. Let us also freely accept this gift, and let us use this wonderful gift from God.

Glory be to the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, forever and ever.

Amen. Freely God gave, and freely we receive His gift of life. Even though we were sinners, God still forgives us through repentance, so no longer are we are sinners, but made clean through union in God, our Lord, our Messiah, our friend.
