Proverbs 24:16, Romans 6:6, 9-10, 11

“For a righteous man will fall seven times and rise again, But the ungodly shall weaken in evils.”

A righteous man will always choose repentance over sin, no matter how many times he may stumble, will not fall to the despair of sin, because…

“knowing this, that our old man was crucified with Him, that the body of sin might be done away with, that we should no longer be slaves of sin.”

For Jesus Christ had died in the sin that once held power over us, so that we are no longer held back by the sins of our doings, but become united with Him as who we are (that is our pure self that does not want evil or sin).

And, “knowing that Christ, having been raised from the dead, dies no more. Death no longer has dominion over Him. For the death that He died, He died to sin once for all; but the life that He lives, that He lives to God.”

So rejoice! Because Jesus Christ had not just died to sin, so that sin no longer reign over us, but is alive, rising from the dead OVER sin.

“Likewise you also, reckon yourselves to be dead indeed to sin, but alive to God in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

Now, we are free from sin, no longer a slave but alive in the risen Jesus Christ. Remember that sin no longer have power over you, that even if you may stumble, Jesus Christ had died for sin once for all (as long as you have the heart to repent, for if you don’t repent from your sins, how could Jesus forgive the sin?), and no matter what, keep living in the grace of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

May God be with you all, even to the end of the age. Amen.
