Jeremiah 17:7-8

Blessed is the man who trusts in the LORD, and whose hope is the LORD. For he shall be like a tree planted by the waters, which spreads out its roots by the river, and will not fear when heat comes; but its leaf will be green and will not be anxious in the year of drought, nor will cease from yielding fruit.

I came across this because of a really beautiful singing voice from a great singer. And these two verses really have a lot of truth in them. They really are true for millions of Christians.

Glory be to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit, to whom be glory, honor, and worship now and forever unto the age of ages. Amen.

Amen! Reminds me of Matthew 7:24-27 of the parable of the wise and foolish builders. "And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock."
