How are we supposed to approach these people when evangelizing, confessing the faith of Jesus Christ, and telling them the wrong things they are doing in an effective way that will get them to repent?

Even though they are deep in sin, they still hold the image of God. We Christians are sinners too, and all of us are in need of God's mercy and truth revealed by the Son, Jesus Christ. Never ever think that they are not human in any way, for at the end of the day, despite their human nature being perverted in many grave ways, they still are created in the image of God, for the Image of God on a person, no matter how deep they are in sin, never goes away. So now how to actually approach them? Approach them with Mercy, Love, and Truth. You are called to turn the other cheek, meaning to be peaceful, full of the Lord's Peace, and to not retaliate in the way of this world, that is with insults, hate, and coldness. Approach them with the Lord's Peace, Mercy, and Love. Tell them the truth about God in a loving and merciful way. Remember, the purpose of approaching these people are to lead them into the Faith of Jesus Christ, that is Christianity and his Holy Church that he himself established, so that they can have the wonderful gift of Salvation, Union with God, and a Life filled with God's Love, Mercy, Grace, and Truth, which will give them eternal life and eternal happiness. Never ever forget the objective. Now of course approaching them in Love and Mercy does not mean you cannot tell the truth to them. You must tell the Truth to them so they can have the call to repentance and Life with God, who is Life. Do it as gently as possible, however. Too harshly and you might scare them away from the Faith. Too softly and they will not be convinced. In all things, rely on the Holy Spirit, pray, fast, and believe, and God will make the way. Christian Charity demands that we give the Truth of God to these people, so that they can be sharing in God's Life and Love for Eternity. Remember, Jesus Christ did not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance. If you have anything else to add, please do add on, but these truths just communicated should never ever be superseded. Treat them with the Lord's Love and Compassion.
