At July 24, 2026, 12:19 p.m. Bleed_For_Love said: Since I’ve never been at, well, a “high” position at school before, my advice may not be the best, but I hope in the Spirit He is working through me, for the better guidance of His people. Number 1 is a very obvious one, but very hard to do, which is to have love, as close as to the same love Christ had and still have upon you. Have love, and like an overflowing cup spill the love of Christ unto others. Remember the two great commandments Jesus taught? To love God and love one’s neighbors. Having such an important role in this ministry you have an opportunity like no other to truly give glory to God and serve in love to your brothers and sisters. So yeah, above all else, love. Love covers over a multitude of sin. Faith, hope, and love, and the greatest of these is love. So despite all fear, all uncertainties, all confusion, all anger, and yes even all faith, always put love first. Number 2 is being a servant. Yep, that important position you got should result in you being more of a bondservant to God and to each other! Congratulations! But actually though, the Gospel and the whole of the Bible, really, has made it clear the “higher” or more “important” a position, the more of a servant we ought to be. Take for example, the Apostle Paul. Did he not call himself a bondservant to God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ? And he was a leader! Yet in humility he put himself in a low position, so he would be exalted in the Kingdom of God. Or what about King Solomon, who said, “Now, O LORD my God, You have made Your servant king…” And Solomon was a king! Yet even he was able to understand God is greater than he could ever be. Or was it not Jesus Himself Who said, “But he who is greatest among you shall be your servant.”? Jesus Christ, the “greatest” and easily the most influential and important person, Who is also God, to have walked this earth, again and again exalts the humble, but puts down the high religious leaders at that time (because of their own hypocrisy and pride). “Let the lowly brother glory in his exaltation, but the rich in his humiliation, because as a flower of the field he will pass away.” And last but not least, number three is, well, important because it’s unexpected. I recently got to James 3, and it says, “My brethren, let not many of you become teachers, knowing that we shall receive a stricter judgement.” This is honestly a bit surprising to me, in that yes, it is expected that with great power comes greater responsibility, but also the power that we can teach wrongly and affect other people as teachers negatively. And then the passage goes on to talk about how the tongue is evil, “With it we bless our God and Father, and with it we curse men, who have been made in the similitude of God.” (James 3:9). Read this passage yourself if you can (along with the footnotes), because I may not be able to explain this all fully here, except that this control of what we say is very necessary and important, especially in the position you might be in, which is the school ministry. So let not any words come from self centeredness or greed or pride, but what you say, whether at school or at home or wherever, should come from God, that is, with genuine goodness for the raising up of the souls. Be in the Spirit always, and seek God’s help, and you will not fall into the snares of the devil. So yeah, the advice is, be loving to God and our neighbors, serve out of Love by being a servant of Jesus Christ and one another, and reliance on God, especially in speech which affects our actions. Therefore, surrender to each other as they may have surrendered to you. Be kind. Be zealous and joyful always. Listen to God. Listen to each other. Communicate. Be thankful. Remember to do all for the Kingdom and the glory of God. And yes, God is with you all, “ ‘For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them.’ “ By putting God first, Thy is the Kingdom, and the Pow’r, and the Glory, forever and ever, Amen. 🙏
