Simple question, like how do you evangelize for people to come to Christ and his Church?

I think I’ve done an evangelization story in the “posts and testimonies” section once, and it goes like this: we would first approach the person and say hi to them, if they don’t receive or just ignore, we let them be cause the worst thing to do is to push the Gospel unto them even if it’s the Truth; because if they get angry or something not only will their hearts be more hardened at the ideas of Christianity, but they might be sent to greater condemnation. Then, once we find a person we can at least strike a conversation up with, which is usually 50-60% of the time, we would ask to pray for them, as well as get to know them. My partner would be the one who exchanges numbers with them so it’s not like after the conversation nothing actually happens. Of course, we tell them about ourselves, our mission, probably share our testimonies if we have time and key point here; DONT MAKE YPUR TESTIMONY LONG. Make it as short and impactful as possible, because 1) the conversation should be about them anyway and 2) no offense but one wants to listen to your emotional story for 20 minutes before getting to the point of things. So don’t get distracted and keeping things straightforward is a huge huge factor. And of course, show that you care about them. Touch them when praying for them if the Holy Spirit leads you to it and if they allow, like laying a hand on their shoulder to show you’re with them. If this person is someone with 16 rice bags to load into their car’s trunk, help them! Show that we are Christian by first acting like Christians. And yes, of course, preach about Jesus. Preach about what he’s done for us and the love, His Love which none of us deserved and His abundant mercy, that if we turn to Him, we would be washed clean and forgiven. And yeah, that’s about it. And again, definitely make sure there is a connection whether it’s a phone number or soemthing because you don’t want to evangelize to them just to do it and not get them connected to the Church or have other believers around to help them grow. And of course, most importantly, remember, we are all servants of Christ, His faithful workers. In the end, it is not us to transform them, but God’s will be done. He is the vinedresser, and He is the One Who will end up leading someone to salvation and bring the Holy Spirit unto that person. Don’t put yourself into God’s position, but know that even if it doesn’t end up working out, to not give up and keep moving forward, because God’s ways and plans are far greater than anything we can ever imagine.
