These past few days let’s just say the environment has really humbled me and really got me to look outside and be grateful for creation and God’s presence. I’m becoming more reliant on God, and with little distraction has got me to appreciate how no matter how many times we’ve “left God”, He has never abandoned us. And even when we do hurt God (not saying God can be hurt, but as in not obeying His will for us), God continues to love us all the more, and when we do come back (as in repenting from a terrible sin or as some people describe it; “waking up”), He forgives. How God can forgive us so easily, I can never understand and no one can really measure the Grace of God. I mean, sometimes it feels like “For what I am doing, I do not understand. For what I will to do, that I do not practice; but what I hate, that I do.” (Romans 7:15, NKJV), and this is coming from the Apostle Paul, who’s chosen by Jesus Christ. So really, to sum it all up, it’s through this experience that strengthens us all the more in God and the Lord Jesus Christ. Constant TRUE repentance which leads to growth toward Lord Jesus. Becoming more united in God and thinking no longer according to the lusts of this world, because being children of God, how can the world ever satisfy us, when only God can? but rather being united in God we are to think and work in the Kingdom of God, which is the Church, but also in the world through evangelism and prayer of the Holy Spirit. Rest in God, and having Him as my Love in this life and the next, He rests in me, and I in Him. He guides me through the dark valleys and high mountains. And nothing can take this intimacy away, not the uncertainty of this world or the demons or any fallen angels. Stay humble, pray, and remember: “For a righteous man may fall seven times, and rise again, but the wicked shall fall by calamity.“ (Proverbs 24:16).
