Discussion Description:
Is it staying close to God for as long as possible and trying not to stumble? Is it staying weak and relying on God when you do? Is it less social media? No social media? Or is it trying to pray ceaselessly to God? Those are just a few suggestions and there may be different answers to this, but what is growth as a Christian ๐ณ๐ผ๐ฟ ๐๐ผ๐?

For example, I get rid of all of the things that hinder my faith, and I put in things in my life that aid me in growing more united with God. So for example, some things that hinder me from stronger faith in God are daydreaming, excessive video gaming, and excessive YouTube. So by the practice of asceticism, I get rid of these things, either slow and steady or immediately, depending on my ability, and so in this way I get the roadblocks off the road and I keep driving on the road to communion with God. And also by the practice of asceticism, I add things in my life that aid me on this road, such as an active prayer life, engaged in the Holy Scriptures, and going to Church every Sunday to receive the Holy Eucharist. This for me is becoming stronger in my faith in Jesus Christ.
