No, simply do not integrate faith with the government. Of course you can have the guiding principles of faith and the Holy Spirit guiding the people of the government (that's why we pray for our politicians). It sounds good in theory, until you see governments like in the middle east that literally have the religion as the government, and it is literally a totalitarian regime. Keeping the government secular (away from religion but not atheist) is good, and you can always pray for them to be guided by the Holy Spirit. That to me seems like the best practice.
