Should we mix religion with the government, or should our faith be separate from the government?

At April 19, 2026, 10:03 p.m. Real_The_Founder said: I think that faith and government should remain separate. That does not mean that we must elect atheist and secular people in the government. No, simply do not integrate faith with the government. Of course you can have the guiding principles of faith and the Holy Spirit guiding the people of the government (that's why we pray for our politicians). It sounds good in theory, until you see governments like in the middle east that literally have the religion as the government, and it is literally a totalitarian regime. Keeping the government secular (away from religion but not atheist) is good, and you can always pray for them to be guided by the Holy Spirit. That to me seems like the best practice.
