We know Jesus has risen, and had already overcome this world, so we, too, even when there are troubles, are to rise with Him, knowing no matter what the world throws at us, we have a foundation, Who is never weakened. We have the Rock, who is Christ, and we have built our house on the Rock, so when rain or wind comes, we have God to rely on (as in The Word, and prayer). And just because our situation has changed for the worst, it doesn't affect God, Who is unchanging, so no matter what we're facing, whether trials, temptations, or shocking things, God is always there for us. Rely on God through prayer, reading The Word, and being in His presence, as preparation for these tests of faith.
