Christ is in our midst my brothers and sisters! Greetings of peace and grace to you all, from God the Father, and Jesus Christ the Risen Lord, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you all! We must testify to the fact that today is truly a wonderful day that God has made for us, a truly wonderful act of mercy towards us. Although at many times we feel like we deserve nothing, in the end God is merciful and kind, and he out of his love gives us everything. It is truly a wonderful reality that we live in my brothers and sisters, the reality of God's Love, and the reality that we have the path of salvation laid out for us, through the Son Jesus Christ.

It is of common knowledge my brothers and sisters that Jesus Christ came to show us sinners The Way and the Truth and the Life. Jesus Christ came to us, and walked among us, and is still present with us through his Church, all for many purposes. He came to us and is still with us for the purpose of giving us the Truth, God's Truth that enlightens us, to give us life, which we can only obtain from God, to give us the way to union with God, to give us the Holy Spirit, who is the Spirit of Truth, and even now who is still with us as a precious gift from God, to grant us the way of righteousness, so that we can fully imitate The Father, The Son, The Holy Spirit, God forever and ever. But even with all of these purposes, the Son of God became incarnate for our sake and salvation for one primary purpose: to give us God's Love.

God's Love. It is eternal, unlimited, unceasing, uncreated, and totally unconditional. It is the most powerful force in all of creation. It brings the truth, it brings clarity, it brings comfort. It shuns all evil, shuns all sin, and protects the people of God. Love from God is truly transformative. Love from God is what transforms the outcasts, the despised, the forgotten, and the forsaken into children of the Most High God, The Holy Trinity. Love from God is what delivers us from separation from God, delivers us from sin, death, and the evil spirits. Love from God brings gentleness, peace, grace, and true unity. It is so powerful, that all evil flees from God's Love. Evil ceases to exist where God's Love is. Sin and Death themselves cannot comprehend the majesty of God's Love, and so these too diminish. The Prince of this World, Satan, is simply defeated, because God's Love reigns supreme over all creation. Truth and clarity are there where God's Love is. All evil is destroyed and done away with, and righteousness is lived out, where God's Love is.

Where can we find God's Love then? Where can we find it visibly? God's Love has been clearly seen, when one looks at the crucified Christ. He came into this world to find the lost sheep and reconcile it back to the 99 sheep. He came to take away all our sins. He came to destroy the roadblock blocking us from having union and life with God, that is death. He gave to us the most wonderful and greatest form of Love: Sacrificial Love. Greater Love hath no one than this, than to lay down one's life for one's friends. Jesus Christ, full of God's Grace, Truth, and Love, gave his life for our salvation, for our life, and for our communion with God. This is Love, God's Love shown in the most perfect way possible. And Jesus, rising from the dead, to all who believe and have faith in him, he gave them the power to truly become God's children, also full of God's Grace and God's Love. God's Love is truly felt and seen also in Christ's Church, The Holy Scriptures that reveal Jesus Christ, and the people of God, who Love God, and who Love each other with God's Love.

And so therefore, how do we know that we are acting and behaving as Christians who do have God's Love? As you have read above my brothers and sisters, the famous passage of Love from Saint Paul's Epistle to the Corinthians, God's Love has specific characteristics: God's Love is long-suffering, meaning that it is patient, it is gentle and kind to all, but especially for the hurt, it is not envious, which is jealousy of what other people have, it does not parade itself, which is putting itself on display for the sake of being displayed, it is not prideful or arrogant, it is not mean-spirited, rude or brash, nor does it think in evil thoughts or keeps a score on others, it definitely does not rejoice when others fall into sin, but rather God's Love indeed does bear all things, meaning handling the burdensome, it believes in all things, which is trusting in God no matter what happens, it hopes in all things, never falling into despair, but always keeps looking up, it endures all things, putting up with everything, and it does not wear out. The only thing that God's Love cannot do, is fail.

And so even if there are people out there with tremendous faith, faith powerful enough to move mountains in seconds, but they are without God's Love, they are nothing. There may be many people out there who are human calculators, who can do quantum physics, who are extremely advanced in theology, who are extremely gifted with knowledge and wisdom, but if they do not have God's Love, they too are simply nothing. The point is, there are many gifts in this life, and many good gifts from the Holy Spirit. But above all these things, Love is the one gift that truly matters. Love, out of all the gifts of the Holy Spirit, is the one gift that is unlimited, everlasting, eternal, transformative, fulfilling, and it completes us.

And so therefore my brothers and sisters in the Lord Jesus Christ, pursue God's Love. Every day when you wake up, make the decision to pursue God's Love. Ask the Holy Spirit to strengthen you, to guide you, to lead you to being in God's Love, and acting in accordance with God's Love, and even in giving God's Love to as many people as you can, in a truly Christ-like way. Make every effort to have God's Love my brothers and sisters. Feel God's Love in the Sacraments, in the Scriptures, in his Holy Church, in Prayer, in Fasting, in being charitable, in sacrificing for each other, and in imitating Jesus Christ, the Lord of all. God's Love is the most wonderful force ever in existence; why not have it? Why not pursue it? The only way we can truly have God's Love is only through Jesus Christ. There are many fake roads that promise false love, but Jesus Christ, the Son of God, he is the only one who is truly genuine, and truly offers God's perfect Love to all of those who are willing to receive his Love.

Therefore, my brothers and sisters, let us all pursue God's Love all the more, let us continue to partake in God's Love, and let us never stop having, practicing, and giving God's Love to people. The Grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, and the Love of God, and the Communion of the Holy Spirit, be with you all always. Amen.
