Good day brothers and sisters. We must thank God for this beautiful day, and thank God for his great gift of life, and his great gift of Salvation from Hell, through our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Remember how the Lord delivered us out of sin through his cross and resurrection, and in our own individual lifetimes too, when we prayed to God Almighty through our Lord Jesus Christ to be delivered out of sin, and he, being kind, merciful, and forgiving, delivered us out of our own sorrowful states and sins. I know that the Lord has done this specifically for me.

And so my fellow believers in Christ, it is very important that we acknowledge that we have sinned against the Lord when we do sin. We are all not perfect, and we are all in need of our Lord Jesus Christ. So when we do eventually mess up before our Lord, we must act rightly and not wrongly.

Whenever you just realized that you sinned against God or your neighbor, it is important to immediately repent, no matter where you are, what time zone you are in, or what time it is. Start by knowing that you just sinned against the Holy Triune God, and that you need to radically change your lifestyle so that you will not commit that sin again. At once say out loud the Jesus Prayer: "Lord Jesus Christ Son of God have Mercy on me a Sinner." This is a very important step, so make sure that you do not miss it, for this is the first step toward repentance after you now that you have sinned, for you are asking Christ mercy, because you know that you have sinned against him, and you need repentance.

Then after this, sometime that day, make an effort to go into a deep prayer with God asking forgiveness and mercy from him, and express your repentance of that sin. Know that the sin that you have committed is wrong, disgusting, and evil. And really pray with faith to God, for this pleases the One True Triune God. Ask God how to get out of this sin, and he will tell you how to do it right there. Ask God for forgiveness. Do not miss this step: it is extremely important also.

After this, make an effort to go to Holy Confession as soon as possible. Most Catholic Churches have Holy Confession on Saturdays in the morning and Thursdays. It is important for this step to occur, for you are seeking Christ's forgiveness to someone who does have the authority from God to absolve you from your sin. This is a super duper important step brothers and sisters, this you cannot miss at all.

This is a proper way to repent of your sin before God. Ask God to always keep you free from this sin, and really make an effort to never commit this sin again.
