Today on June 1st 2025, we celebrate the Ascension of the Lord Jesus Christ, 40 days after the wonderous resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ. As recorded in the first 11 verses of acts and the last few verses of the Gospel of Luke, Jesus ascended into heaven after saying a few things to his disciples and blessing them. And on this day, we remember this wonderous event and praise God for this incredible miracle.

So how would one celebrate this incredible miracle? Well, go to Mass! Read what Jesus commands us to do and go out and do them! Remain in him, as he remains in you when you follow his commands! Eat his body and drink his blood! Do not just sit around the house; rather go out and do what the Lord wants you to do, which is to hear the words of Christ Jesus, and to respond to those words with faith, obedience, and Love. Go out and Love one another just as Christ himself loved us. Remember his teachings in the Sermon on the Mount (Matthew 5-7), and remember his parables, such as The Good Samaritan, The Parable of the Sheep and the Goats, and the rest of his parables, and take the message he is telling and go out and do it! Love in actions and in Truth, not just words fellow Christians.

May the Asencion of the Lord Jesus Christ inspire you to go out and do what Christ Jesus commanded us to do. And may the peace of the Lord Jesus Christ be with you always, until the very end of time. Amen.
