The most famous bible verse is perhaps Matthew 7:1, and this verse states, "Do not judge, or you too will be judged." These are Jesus' words here, and they convey a meaning to us believers in him, and once we know the meaning of his words, our faith in him will be strengthened in him, and we will have become better disciples of Jesus Christ. The main interpretation here is to not be a hypocritical Christian, who judges others harshly, but exalts himself above them all. And we do know what Jesus says about those who exalt themselves. They will be humbled. But those who humble themselves will be exalted to a high level. So what is the meaning of what Jesus Christ has said here?

By looking at the context (see Gospel above), we can know that Jesus Christ is talking about hypocritical judgement, especially those who think they are better and more righteous than others. Can you be a Christian and a Hypocrite? Only if you want to go to Hell. No, as Christians, whatever Jesus the Son of God wants us to do, we must do it.

Jesus commands us to not be angry with a brother or sister, or else that is the same as murder of someone. So you need to obey his word, since you call yourself a Christian. But if you do not obey his word, and yet you still call yourself a Christian, and you do call other Christians out for their wrongdoing, you are a hypocrite! You have a plank in your own eye! So you must first take that plank out of your own eye first, and then you can help your brother out with getting on the right path, but not harshly, but gently. Be gentle, just as your heavenly Father in heaven is gentle to all, both sinners and saints, both the just and the lawbreakers. You must first learn on how to do Jesus' command, and then once you can see clearly without that plank, you can gently restore the person stumbling.

And of course, you cannot judge hypocritically or self-righteously. Why do you tell others how perfect you are compared to them? Why do you tell them every wrong they are doing, but you yourself are also doing the wrong things as well? This is wrong, plain and simple. You must not be harsh in judgment, but gentle. You must humble yourself and not proclaim yourself as righteous, for proclaiming how "perfect" you are compared to those who stumble is evil. You must not judge like the hypocrites did back in Jesus' day, and you must not judge self-righteously. Rather put others before yourself. Be self-less, just like Jesus Christ is.

Finally, Brothers and Sisters, remember to follow through all of Jesus' commands. We must not judge harshly or judge self-righteously, but rather first follow the Lord's commands, and whenever one stumbles, be very gentle with them, and be humble with them, for this is the way Jesus was back in his day. Be Perfect, just as your Heavenly Father is Perfect as well.

The Grace of Lord Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit be with you all this wonderful day. Amen.
