Peace. It is a truly wonderful thing to have in your life. It is one of the fruits of the Holy Spirit, and the definition of Peace is harmony in all relationships. Is that something that you think would be truly amazing to have? It is because it is really amazing to have, because it comes from the Holy Spirit, who is God also. Peace is something that we should all have in our lives, because without Peace, we have chaos, which is from the enemy, Satan. How do we defy Satan's trickery, and instead follow God, and have his wonderful Peace be with us?

First and foremost, you must accept that Jesus Christ is Lord, the Son of God, who came to save us all from sin by sacrificing his perfect self, so that all who believe in him may all be saved through him. For when we were baptized, we were also baptized with Jesus Christ, and so we also died on the cross with Jesus Christ, and thus we are made perfect through Jesus Christ, because he was also made perfect when he rose on the third day (see Romans 6:1-14). And so therefore now that we are perfect, we have received the Holy Spirit, just like the early church fathers did, so that we may naturally do what Jesus Christ wants us to do (see Romans 8:1-17 and Galatians 5:13-26), because of the Holy Spirit working on us, so that we may become righteous through our faith in Jesus Christ. For it is written, "The righteous will live by faith" (see Habakkuk 2:4 and Romans 1:17). By accepting that Jesus is Lord, died for us to be cleansed of sin and evil, and putting out total trust and faith in him, we receive his Holy Spirit, and so therefore will begin to bear fruit of the Holy Spirit, which one of them is Peace

With the Holy Spirit, which Jesus Christ gave us after his death and resurrection, we can bear the righteous fruit of Peace, which God is happy to give us. To maintain that Peace however, is another thing as well. However, for every issue, there is a solution, and there are answers to maintaining Peace as well, both in Jesus' own words and from the Holy Spirit through the Apostle Paul.

The first thing to do is to not argue and grumble over anything, for when you do, you are disturbing the Peace that God has given you. Do not do the devil's work which is to complain about every single little thing, or to argue over silly things, or to grumble about the imperfect things and the things not going right for you. Instead, follow the way on how Jesus Christ was humble, not grumbling when the blind men came to him to ask him to be able to see and not complaining when Jairus came to him asking him to raise his daughter from the dead. No, be humble in everything you do, for this is the way how Jesus taught us. As he has said in his wisdom, "Truly I tell you, anyone who will not receive the Kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it," (Mark 10:15). Also remember the words of the Holy Spirit through Paul in Philippians 2:14-18. Go ahead and read it.

Another thing to do is to not worry. Why worry? Nothing good ever came out of worrying over something. Rather you waste time worrying over little insignificant things. By worrying, you are ignoring the good things God brought to you that do bring Peace into your life, and are instead wasting time and energy doing unproductive worrying. Do not worry, for your Heavenly Father knows that you need these things. Just remember the words that Jesus Christ spoke about worrying in Matthew 6:25-34. Do not replace Peace with worrying.

And another thing to remember are the words that Jesus Christ spoke about dealing with anger. Out of anger, we insult each other, we argue with evil intent, and we become angry with each other. But you are not to be angry with each other. Rather you are to be reconciled with each other as fast as possible, so that there will be no evil between you two. Just remember what Jesus Christ spoke concerning that in Matthew 5:21-26. Do not argue about silly things, and do not be angry with one another, so that you will still have Peace between you two, and with yourself as well.

The last thing to remember is to rejoice in everything you see and do, as the Holy Spirit has said through Paul in Philippians 4:4-9. Rejoice in everything you see and do, for you will be filling your mind with these wonderful things, which then will help you keep your Peace. Rejoice, for your sins have been taken away through your faith in Jesus Christ! Fill your mind with these thoughts of rejoicing in the Lord, and all the great wonderful things that happened through Jesus Christ, for you will be filling your mind with the good things of the Lord, which will help you have the Lord's Peace.

Finally Brothers and Sisters, just remember that Jesus Christ is Lord and Savior of all of us. Remember to receive the Lord's Peace joyfully and like children, and remember to keep it from being lost by Satan. The Grace and Peace of God the Father and his Son Jesus Christ, along with his Holy Spirit be with you all. Amen.
