The Parable of the Sower is another well-known parable spoken by Jesus, speaking of four types of people who hear the Word of God. One type is the seed sown on the path, where the birds took the seed, and left nothing behind. The second type is the seed on rocky soil, who do hear the word, but fail to persevere through the end in times of hardship of sticking to the Word. The third type is the seed sown among thorns, which when the seed grew, it was choked by the things of the world (the thorns), and never produced anything valuable. But the fourth type is the one in which we should all strive for; when the seed was sown among good soil, which grew and grew, and then produced lots of good and valuable things. This type, the seed among the good soil, should be the one we should all be.

So how exactly do we become like the seed on the good soil, if we want to produce an abundance of good and valuable things as told in the parable?

The key is to stick with God's word through thick and thin, and sacrificing the necessary things that are holding you back from sticking with God's word. Do not let anyone snatch the good word that was told to you; when in times of hardship, persevere so you can have a great reward at the end of the hardship, by sticking to Jesus' words; do not let the things of this world like the idolatry of money, fame, power, pride, and many other things deceive you from the Truth, always put Jesus first, and everything else second; then you can be like the seed sown among good soil, who heard the word, kept it, and produced a lot of fruit for God. This is a good thing to do; why not do it? It's easy!
