The book of Acts is the fifth book in the New Testament, and the book in which the Early Church is detailed. It tells the story of how the few believers in Christ soon through the power of the Holy Spirit grew into a great big loving Church, in which thousands of people believed in Jesus Christ as the Son of God. So, why should you read the book of Acts?
One reason why you should read the book of Acts is that it gives you lots of defenses to defend your faith in Jesus Christ, The Way, The Truth, and the Life. The many defenses brought by the Holy Spirit spoken through the Apostles of Jesus Christ will give you more knowledge and proper defense to defend the faith, from Stephen's defense before the Jewish court, to Paul's defense before King Herod at the time.
Another reason is that it will help strengthen your faith in Christ. Throughout the book of Acts, it has been shown that Apostles like Peter, James, John, Paul, and many others were persecuted harshly, with some being put to death the worst ways possible, but yet they did not perish. It just goes to show you that even though the world will hate you, Jesus will love you when you are doing his work. He has made all people clean through his sacrifice on the cross, and the faith presented through the Apostles in Acts will help you in your time of testing.
The Book of Acts will strengthen your Faith in Jesus Christ. Read a couple chapters first, and go from there; ultimately it will help you.
